The Connecticut Hydrogen and Electric Automobile Purchase Rebate Program (CHEAPR) offers point-of-sale rebates of up to \$5,000 for the incremental cost to purchase or lease an EV or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). The manufacturer suggested retail price for new eligible vehicles may not exceed \$50,000. CHEAPR offers an additional rebate, Rebate Plus, for qualifying individuals who purchase or lease a new or pre-owned eligible vehicle.
