How much you can get
Solar energy systems and all their components are exempt from Florida sales and use tax (s. 212.08(7)(hh), F.S.). No expiration date. Not a rebate: the saving is the tax not charged.

- Equipment used to collect, transfer, convert, store or use solar energy for water heating, space heating/cooling or other uses that would otherwise need a conventional energy source. AC wiring that would be present without the PV system is not exempt. Sellers must document exempt sales.
